Your Visit

When you arrive

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled consultation.  You will be provided with a tablet to complete your patient registration and medical history.

SEATTLE OFFICE PATIENTS: Please use the emailed link to register before your first visit to our office.

Consultation

You will be asked questions related to your chief concern and we will take any necessary x-rays to visualize the area.  We will complete a focused examination of your teeth to determine the cause and potential remedies for the problem.  Drs. Nguyen and Moran will discuss your treatment options with you and develop a plan that fits your needs.

Treatment

If endodontic treatment is recommended, it may be appropriate to start at your first appointment. Otherwise, our staff will coordinate with you to return for a future treatment visit.

Post-op Instructions

You may experience some soreness after treatment – this is normal and is no cause for alarm. This soreness should diminish in a few days. We advise taking up to four Ibuprofen (e.g. Motrin or Advil) 200mg tablets every 8 hours, along with up to two Acetaminophen (e.g. Tylenol) 500mg tablets at the same time, for the next 4 days to reduce symptoms. Antibiotics or other medications will be prescribed under certain circumstances for you to take following treatment.

Follow-up

You can expect a call from our office in the days following your treatment to check-in. We’ll often schedule you to return after one year to confirm the long-term success and healing of your treatment. In the meantime, your general dentist will coordinate with you to schedule any other necessary dental treatment.

If you have any questions, please call our Federal Way (253) 952-3636 or Seattle (206) 521-3636 offices
